What better place to be at for the Spanish World Cup triumph than Tapas Plus? For the loyal crowd of regulars that includes a sizeable part of the local Spanish community, this was the perfect celebration of the best of Spain.

The Dominguez family would like to thank everyone for their custom and the great contribution they made to the atmosphere during the World Cup.

Like all licensed premises, we have a legal limit on the number of customers we can have at any one time. We know tomorrow is going to be massively busy for the big game – and we want to do our best to ensure that we have as many of our loyal customers with us as possible – so we are having a list on the door. We are putting our regulars and all those that have been supporting Spain at Tapas Plus on it. You can check to see if you are on the list or ask to be put on for the last few places by popping in to Tapas Plus today (Saturday). Management have absolute discretion over the list and the right to refuse entry.

Opening
We will open at 4pm on Sunday for the match, which kicks off at 7.30pm

Bar Only Service
Because of the numbers expected, it will be a drinks only session – the kitchens will be closed.

After a mostly boring series of opening games, football fans are hoping that Spain can live up to their reputation and be the possible saviours of a tournament that is already in danger of being remembered for dodgy balls and plastic horns rather than outstanding performances.

Manager Del Bosque embraced expectation and issued a warning to the world:

‘We are ready,’ he said. ‘I’m very happy. I have 23 players in the best possible condition and we have so many options and permutations in our squad and so many stars”
